elansprint72 Posted January 29, 2007 Author Share #4  Posted January 29, 2007 Which 1925 facsimile building is this from?  It looked pretty genuine, actually. I can't get at the other shots on this computer but I'll post some more on this thread tomorrow, be advised though; one of them includes a naked couple and a snake  Cheers, Pete. dotandcom Posted January 30, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted January 30, 2007 Great fun, Pete, and very well spotted. Looks to be genuine 17th-century work. Am I right in thinking that I can see the sort of noise (especially at the top of the image) that I am accustomed to from my D2 at higher ISOs? Â All the best, Â Chris
elansprint72 Posted January 30, 2007 Author Share #7 Â Posted January 30, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks guys, yes Chris, looks like noise. I think it was ISO 200, should have converted to greyscale and turned noise into grain. The focus is a bit off and there's a bit of shake as I was standing on a balcony across the street and it was freezing! There is a panel dated 1615, which would tie in with Abraham's doublet and hose, I guess! Here are some more, PARENTAL ADVISORY. Odd goings on back then. Â Cheers, Pete. Peter41951 Posted January 30, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted January 30, 2007 Some miserichord carvings are delightfully gruesome, too! That poor couple who keep posing with a snake have been on the circuit for a long while; I'm sure I've seen them before. A lovely series from what looks like a very enjoyable day out. samwells Posted February 1, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted February 1, 2007 Lovely witty group of shots...interesting how, if you want to see violence, perversion and pornography, you only have to visit medieval European Christian architecture. Thanx for showing. cheers: Sam
