kivis Posted March 29, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 29, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) OK I know we have covered this before but soon it will be hot (my daughter in New England says I am lying, it will be winter forever), so how much heat can a roll of film withstand in the glove box of a car? And for how long? Sometimes I need to keep a loaded camera hidden in the glove box or under the seat for about an hour in freaky high temperatures like a 100 F. What say you? Advertisement Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Hi kivis, Take a look here hot times with film. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
too old to care Posted March 29, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 29, 2011 Probably no problem with black and white, maybe not with color either in the glove box. But, I would not trust it much longer than that, especially with color. However, I have often left loaded cameras under the seat for hours with no problems. plasticman Posted March 29, 2011 Share #4 Posted March 29, 2011 Why not get one of those small picnic chill bags (intended for beers or a bottle of white) and keep under the seat in that?
