Can anyone help with this Leica tool?

Interesting instrument... I think for shutter's time calibration : hard to define it as a Leica collectible, but there are people who like and value such lab items.

 

Thanks very much, do you know what would the "keyword" be for finding else something like this?

It appears to be a gauge for measuring the position of an aperture actuating lever or sensor cam on Leicaflex or R lenses. I don't know enough about that mount to go beyond that; do you have any more pictures of it?

The tool is used to check that the cams in a R lens are at the correct height and tell the camera the correct aperture that the lens is set to. The cams have thin metal shims under them which can be removed or added to until the height is correct.

 

Attached are the instructions for the use of the tool.
