ho_co Posted March 10, 2011 Share #4 Posted March 10, 2011 eshop-- Why don't you email the picture to the customer service team relevant to your location? Maybe some oldtimer in repair will remember it and when and how it was used, and you can tell us. How do you know it's a Leitz product? The engraved part numbers certainly look that way, but there must be more identification than you've shown.
Eshopper1 Posted March 10, 2011 Author Share #5 Posted March 10, 2011 It is a micrometer clock with adapted scale for calibration of apertures. Thank you very much for your input. Any idea if I should keep it or junk it (value)? I got it along with a lens and some other stuff, and don't think that anyone would buy it.

I was told it was less than 20 years old, and still used - AP Jig if that makes sense to you? It didn't to me, but admittedly I am a digital guy and know nothing about repair. ho_co Posted March 11, 2011 Share #7 Posted March 11, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) It has an "older design" look to me, but I've got no idea. I'm by no means a technician and would be interested in anything you find out. Thanks for the thread!
farnz Posted March 11, 2011 Share #8 Posted March 11, 2011 There are some very clued-up members in the Leica Collectors and Historica forum and if you post a link to this thread over there I think you'll find out a lot more about it. Pete.
