pop Posted March 12, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 12, 2011 Does that change when you reload a page?
adan Posted March 12, 2011 Share #3 Posted March 12, 2011 I suspect the traffic due to the tragedy in Japan may be slowing down the ability of the internet as a whole to discard cached versions of pages. Although maybe it is just the LUF server. At any rate, as pop says, clicking the refresh/reload icon does at least temporarily dump the cached version of forum content pages and reveal the recent updates. But often they revert to the out-of-date versions...
andybarton Posted March 12, 2011 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2011 No problem here.
LUF Admin Posted March 12, 2011 Share #5 Posted March 12, 2011 Good morning, I've changed the caching settings of the forum yesterday twice: The first change was too aggressive, so some pages you loaded during this time (yesterday afternoon and early evening European time) may block your browser to update. If you experience something similar simply update that page by reloading. If the problem persists, please send me a PM. Best regards from Bonn Andreas
SJP Posted March 12, 2011 Share #6 Posted March 12, 2011 My browser seems to be having a lot of difficulty in Barnacks Bar (not for political reasons). Continuous reloading of pages with "error on page" warning. Will also send this by PM
mby Posted March 12, 2011 Share #7 Posted March 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Problem persists here, in some sub-categories reload helps, unfortunately not in all... Best, Michael
pop Posted March 12, 2011 Share #8 Posted March 12, 2011 Try clearing the browser's cache. In some instances it seems to have solved the problem.
