If that were the case, I ask myself why repairs, that have been authorised, take so long. No of course not. This is most likely a case of failed communications but if the OP had really not wanted the repair carried out, a prompt response back to Leica would most likely have prevented the repair happening by accident as appears to be the case. I sure hope this does not mean you are abandoning the Leica M system, as your B&W work in LFI has been truly inspirational.
