bill Posted January 26, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 26, 2007 I love this sort of "industrial abstract" shot. What and where, Steve? Regards, Bill

elansprint72 Posted January 26, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 26, 2007 How do you get the "grain", does the M8 have a Tri-X mode? :D:D
stunsworth Posted January 26, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted January 26, 2007 Pete, oddly enough I use the Alien Skin Exposure plugin to convert to b&w which does ;-) I guess it does a reasonable job.
bill Posted January 26, 2007 Share #6 Posted January 26, 2007 Beautiful. There's a two-seater one of these not far from me in Farnborough. Sadly, you can't get close to it. The English Electric "Double Oven" was my first Airfix kit. An amazing machine. Regards, Bill

Apart from Area 51, where do you get Alien Skin? Cheers, Pete.
bill Posted January 26, 2007 Share #8 Posted January 26, 2007 Pete, the funny thing is, if that is the same one, I have driven beneath that Vulcan... Waaaay back in 1982 or thereabouts I spent some time in Cockermouth on business. I remember staying at the Pheasant, on the shores of Bassenthwaite. stunsworth Posted January 26, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted January 26, 2007 Pete, see here - there's a 30 day trial... Exposure It's horribly expensive though - $199! But it works. There are colour films available as well as b&w.
jmr Posted January 26, 2007 Share #10 Posted January 26, 2007 Steve, lovely curves, lines and texture. The balance of light and dark isn't bad either
Peter41951 Posted January 27, 2007 Share #11 Posted January 27, 2007 The textures are great, and Exposure has probably helped to give it a rougher industrial feel. Works very well.
