Wilson - well done. I also have the 80-200 (but nothing to shoot it with at the moment as I don't see much point in converting it to Canon EOS for such a short period). I'm interested in this Leitax solution, but would still want a tripod mount. Have you worked out anything for tripod mounting?

Here is proof of concept prototype 01 from Amadeo. Apparently this was a pig to machine and there was a lot of swarf wastage. I have made a couple of suggestions e.g. bigger tube and to make in four pieces rather than two. At the moment the tube, rear male mount and rear of the female front mount are all one bit. I have suggested rear mount, tube, female mount rear and female mount front, all held together with M1.7 screws and with locating shoulders on the tube. The projected cost f.o.b. Venzuela is $120. Please note things like the locking latch for the front mount will be looked at on the next prototype. I am not going to tackle tripod mount at this stage as the majority of Visoflex lenses already have these. We may look at a version 2 later but at the moment, I want to KISS (keep it simple, stupid) and keep the price down.
