Advertisement Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Hi fotografr, Take a look here The Garden In Winter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leica_girl58 Posted January 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 22, 2007 Hi Brent, Long time no see! I enjoy looking at your garden with snow. It's one thing us New Englanders haven't seen much of this winter. Even travelled to Vermont yesterday looking for some "winter scenes" to photograph with not much luck. I love the white of the snow and the three delicate "snow puffs" that sit on the tips of the grass. It won't be to long before this scene is full of your beautiful flowers. darlene
fotografr Posted January 22, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted January 22, 2007 Thanks, Darlene. Great to hear from you. We haven't had much of a winter here either. This is the first really significant snow we've had and the temperatures have mostly been in the mid-40s. I do love a fresh snowfall and I'm glad we finally got this one. We'll try to send it out your way.
lambroving Posted January 22, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2007 Brent, If you want to send that stuff to Boston, I'm fine with that. Just make sure none of it gets south of Albany. My Friday commute was a 35 mile crawl throught the hills and my mountain which was no fun, mainly lake effect showers which had gotten 400 miles from the Great Lakes! More in the AM. When is spring? dhsimmonds Posted January 22, 2007 Share #5 Posted January 22, 2007 Nice image Brent. We don't see much of that stuff in the South of England. Take no notice of William, he loves the stuff really.........just what his Landrovers were made for!

Take no notice of William, he loves the stuff really.........just what his Landrovers were made for! I heard a rumour his Landrover was stuck in about 2 inches of snow a few days ago. Like most people out east, he probably just doesn't know how to drive in it.

My bride was telling someone about your beautiful garden just the other day.

Since Andreas made it impossible for me to read or access the Forum from work..., but I DO get e-mail notifications, I sent Brent the following: "BTW, don't pick on me on the Forum when I can't reply from work! Gott Sei Dank!, we have only had an inch or two here and there so far. Still for the last serious storm we had, I passed a NJ State Police Durango on my mountain, stuck in the middle of Rt. 80 in 6" of plowed snow. Passed him on the shoulder in 20" of UN-plowed snow... 30" - 36" is about my limit on fresh tires. More than that and I don't budge."

(And I can get in and out of my Volvo without a stepladder.)
