Lighting was a table lamp to his left hand side and the fill was from surrounding lights in the room. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the shiny, curly material behind his head (unless its the hair of a gorgeous blonde sitting next to him, hmmm I wonder?) I assume the shiny, curly material is a decorative fabric lain across the back of the couch on which he is seated. I do not find it objectionable. If you have a fairly steady hand ( I do brace myself against talbes, walls, armrest etc) and a fast lens..... you can leave your flash home and use the enviroment lighting!
