Summaron 35 with goggles M8?

I've got myself quite confused about lenses with goggles on an M8, and the more I search the topic the more confused I get.

As I understand it with a Summaron 35 f3.5 (goggles 1956) it is best to leave the goggles on when using it on an M8 it brings up 50mm VF lines but the goggles compensate for 35mm.

Anything I should know? Any Problems? Any observations?

James is right: the focussing camis adapted to the use of goggles. The lens without the goggles will only focus correctly at infinity ( in fact it will be locked at infinity with the goggles removed)
