Wilfredo I really can't say. I am hoping it will be at the HCB Foundation in Paris if not I am going to have to go visit some friends on Central Park West before it closes on 29 April.

I have e-mailed the HCBF in Paris to find out if it will be going elsewhere but do not expect a reply now until after the weekend.

Andy, thanks for the information! I'm heading to New York feb 19th for the first time and this is an excellent addition to my to do list. I will miss the Annie Leibovitz exhibition by a month but to get a chance to see HCB's work instead, I won't be complaining. :D

The ICP is the only American venue for the exhibition so you guys better pack up the M8's and head to NY.

It was already shown in Paris at the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson. I hope to find time to see it this coming week.

Sorry Wilfredo but Charles is right:

"Dear Andy,

The Scrapbook will only be presented at the ICP.

All the best

Pauline VERMARE"

I am going to check out flights tomorrow ;)

  • 2 weeks later...

I was at the ICP y'day. HCB images poorly hung. My back still hurts from bending and squinting. Munkacsi's influence was very clear. The two shows were on at the same time.

The pupil's (hcb) work rarely reached the originality and calibre of the master (mm).

Both worth the train trip.

My two cents.

I have to pinch myself every time I see HCB's photographs. Why the hell do I need an M6 or even an M8. What is wrong with a III or IIIA and Summar ?

try this : Rethinking Henri Cartier-Bresson. - By Meghan O'Rourke - Slate Magazine

Why don't we have a screwmount photos only section ? - even a competition.

He was amazing. What wouldn't I have given to have gone on a walk with him just to see what his eyes were looking at.
