X1 Thumbwheel

Hello all,

I apologize if this has been mentioned before. I tried searching the forums but could not find anything. Anyways, recently I've been having some problems with my thumbwheel being extremely sensitive. As an example, I would barely touch the thumbwheel while previewing a picture and it will start zooming in. Is this a problem other people are experiencing? If so, is it something I should be worried about?

Its getting a little bit colder here (40 F) and I never use a case and I noticed that once I'm indoors or somewhere warm the problem goes away.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

PS. I love this camera!

Yes, I also have this issue and it's an annoyance... I was wondering if others had noticed over-sensitivity. I mean, I don't use it to review photos very often, but I've had it jump around (you'll know what I mean if it happens to you) when trying to change the ISO setting and my thumb brushes the thumbwheel. I use the up/down buttons to set it, but I guess my thumb brushes (but doesn't twist the thumbwheel, no clicks or anything) the thumbwheel.

I'm about to return my X1 to Leica for a similar problem. Whenever I go into the menu the ridged thumbwheel becomes hyper in that the menu display jitters around making it almost impossible to select anything. This has happened intermittently since I received my X1 in March and I decided to bit the bullet and get it fixed before the warranty runs out!
