Photojazz Posted November 15, 2010 Author Share #21 Â Posted November 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great set of responses people, thanks for participating in my thread. X1 taking a bit of heat over at FM, with sharpness being questioned. Â My results sometimes are inconsistent, but when it nails it, wow, it is amazing detail and resolution for this size camera. Â I am not sure why I cannot bring myself to pay for a viewfinder if I can get one. I know I want one I think, but... being useless for manual focus and manual mode, that is my largest issue with the viewfinder.
Advertisement Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Hi Photojazz, Take a look here X1 owners, what's your favorite thing about it?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
h00ligan Posted November 15, 2010 Share #22 Â Posted November 15, 2010 That would be me...and it's being questioned here too. My question pertains to whether my x1 is attaining the same results as other users. You should participate in that thread!
jsrockit Posted November 16, 2010 Share #23 Â Posted November 16, 2010 I like mine because it makes a good necklace and the ladies always compliment me on it.
Clemgill Posted November 17, 2010 Share #24  Posted November 17, 2010 I also like mine because it's the only digital camera with which you can seriously miss pictures... which then 1/forces you to think twice before pressing the button and 2/provides such interesting surprises... ravinj Posted November 17, 2010 Share #25 Â Posted November 17, 2010 X1 taking a bit of heat over at FM, with sharpness being questioned. Â That's laughable. Sharpness is one thing that the X1 does not lack.
h00ligan Posted November 17, 2010 Share #26 Â Posted November 17, 2010 Again - it's the questioning of ONE x1 (mine), not the entire line. Â Have a look at the raw file I just posted in the thread about it.

gnuyork Posted December 16, 2012 Share #29 Â Posted December 16, 2012 In use: the manual control dials In the end: IQ. I am impressed. I was able to make a 16x24 print with no pixelization. The image was shot at iso 1600.
