andybarton Posted April 17, 2011 Share #141 Posted April 17, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can you put a price on kudos? I won once. I still get a bigger "warm and fuzzy glow" from the winning than I did from the money. The Stroke Association got more of a buzz from the money though, I'm sure. masjah Posted April 18, 2011 Share #143 Posted April 18, 2011 Just got back home. We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, and it was great to meet up with both new and familiar faces. Thanks to Steve for doing the organisation!
andybarton Posted April 18, 2011 Share #144 Posted April 18, 2011 I have just had a couple of rolls from the weekend processed in Jessop’s in Manchester – their new branch with new equipment, opposite Albert Square. Never again. I really should have known better. I ordered process only and scan to CD. Well, they scanned half of one of the rolls, but not the second half. Even on the scans there is dust and hair (which is unusual), so I dread to think what the negatives will be like when I get them home tonight. I’m hoping that they haven’t ruined my Challenge shots completely. This has just reminded me why I don’t do C41 any longer. However, I did have coffee with Falstaff while I was waiting and he has recommended a place in Trafford Park for C41 processing. I will try them if there's a next time.
