MikeD700 Posted December 28, 2010 Share #61 Posted December 28, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sandtman, you are an autofocus man with a high iso and weather seals.. The M8/M9 is definitely not the right camera for you because it requires an artistic, emotional bond. Try Nikon | Home or Canon Global.au revoir. The word "sanctimonious" comes to mind. Advertisement Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Hi MikeD700, Take a look here M8 OR film m plus x1. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
santdtman Posted December 28, 2010 Share #62 Posted December 28, 2010 After taking the M8 and both lenses with me to a trip to Venice, I must say i am VERY impressed by the IQ the camera delivers under daylight. I never had a camera that was able to take so much details in a picture ever. I also found peace with the way the camera works under low light conditions. Its just a very different way to handle working process from taking the picture to handling the files...
photoshutter Posted December 29, 2010 Share #63 Posted December 29, 2010 I want a rangefinder because I like manual controls as opposed to my bells and whistles d90. Either way, getting the m6 or m8, I would want a point and shoot just so I could have a camera with me when a large camera isn't ideal. So really just for social things. But your D90 has full manual control, just replace focusing screen for rangefinder center, that's it. And buy PS like Canon G12.
