carylwithay Posted October 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just got my Lumix FZ100 which is exactly like the V-Lux 20. I had to return the first one because it was not sharp. this one is great. This is my first shot. Caryl Welcome, dear visitor! gjames9142 Posted October 14, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 14, 2010 I have been watching these suckers all summer -- is that a yellow-bellied sapsucker ? -- and now I finally know what they really look like. Bravo.
carylwithay Posted October 14, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted October 14, 2010 I have no idea what kind of hummer it is. They seem to change color with the lighting. Glad you like it. Caryl

carylwithay Posted October 14, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted October 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you Stuart, herb and louis. I am really enjoying this new camera which I received yesterday. It feels like a Leica and is made in the same factory as the Leica. Caryl
Bob Jackson Posted October 14, 2010 Share #8 Posted October 14, 2010 Caryl you do get a lot out of those cameras, it is amazing the clarity and color you achieve. I look forward to all of your Hummer shots, as they are my favorite birds. My Grandmother called them "spirit messengers"; she was Cherokee and always had Hummers around her home by the dozens. Dopaco Posted October 15, 2010 Share #11 Posted October 15, 2010 Excellent. I suppose it wants to say FZ100 equally to V-lux2. Regards
carylwithay Posted October 15, 2010 Author Share #12 Posted October 15, 2010 I read both cameras are made in the same factory and are identical except for the red dot and the included software. Both see to have quality control problems from all the reviews I have read. I had to exchange mine but this new one is perfect. Most of the criticisms by reviewers can be fixed by exchanging their cameras. I have had this problem with panasonic before. it is a pain but worth it when you get a good one.
