Advertisement Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Hi pendevour, Take a look here Langland contre jour. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
martinop Posted January 13, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2007 Like the composition and especially the lighting tones and silhouetting of the 2 persons & dogs on the beach.
gverdon Posted January 13, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 13, 2007 Your choice of symetry is very interesting here. Gérald
pendevour Posted January 13, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted January 13, 2007 When I first spotted this shot the walker, cyclist and dogs were all together in one group (that's how I'd have liked it), but by the time I'd raised the camera to my eye the cyclist was speeding away. I took the picture anyway and really I quite like it, it's different but it could be an example of a missed "decisive moment".
gverdon Posted January 13, 2007 Share #5 Posted January 13, 2007 IMO, a more dynamic image has been created... the group on the beach would have been nice but static. Then, not a missed decisive moment, but rather a successful catch of a special moment. Gérald

stuny Posted January 14, 2007 Share #7 Posted January 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) AJ - Gorgeous, partly due to the great expansiveness of this shot, and the toning is perfect.
