Oz_Hillbilly Posted October 8, 2010 Share #8 Posted October 8, 2010 Out of interest, I was in Foto Riesel a few days ago and they a black M9 in stock. First time they have had one on the shelf that was not "taken". Cheers HillBilly
digger1914 Posted October 9, 2010 Share #9 Posted October 9, 2010 Yeah, I was talking to them a couple of days ago. Said they had 2 black on the shelf. First time ever. Tragically my grey is still on order. Another month at least. Oh well

MarkP Posted October 9, 2010 Share #11 Posted October 9, 2010 I would echo the above regarding Foto Riesel in Kent St (ask for Colin). I've recently purchased from them a black M9 (gave up waiting for the grey and am very happy with black), 35 & 21mm Summiluxes, with 75 Summicron still on order). Excellent service AND support speaking from personal experience as I've already had a problem with one of the lenses. Regarding pricing, many Leica items are currently unavailable and on backorder everywhere so limited exceptional deals. Finally, with respect to stnami's post, although over the years I've bought a lot of equipment on ebay and never been burned, I wouldn't take the risk with such a substantial purchase. I want the peace of mind of knowing the dealer who will honour the equipment they sell. Regards, Mark

Apparently I'm next on the list... Out of interest, what lens had an issue and what was the problem? Cheers HillBilly
