MrEd Posted January 31, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 31, 2007 Hi Peter, Somehow the wet look on the green outfit is very attractive to me:D. Cool shot. Thanks for sharing. Ed. .
arminw Posted January 31, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 31, 2007 Picture 1 is great ! I love the moody light and slight wet look. Number 2 is not working for me... her foot is too cropped and you can also see the marks on the floor ...
stuny Posted January 31, 2007 Share #5 Posted January 31, 2007 Pete - You've shown again that models need to have the versatility to display different looks, and the photographer must be able to make use of that versatility. The lighting works, as does the wet head. I think though the pose in #2 comes off a bit forced and awkward rather than playful. Also, the pose and tights seem to accentuate her being of the too thin model look gaining hostile notoriety of late.
petert531 Posted January 31, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted January 31, 2007 Posing and styling are the hardest part of this. Some people will like some of what you do, others won't. It's hard to imagine at the beginning, but lighting is actually the easiset thing. As for models being too thin....Yes I have seen that in the press. The truth is a lot of these girls don't look that good in bathing suits, but look great in clothes, hence why they are sought out. Everyone has a different beauty ethic. I could go into the psychology of it all. Peter
kamilsukun Posted February 1, 2007 Share #7 Posted February 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Peter, The first one has it. I would chose the first one. Good shot. Thanks for sharing. BTW I agree with you. They don't look good with the swimsuit. And the ones that look good in the "swimsuit" might not look good under the clothes and front of the camera. The ecosystem. A chance of life for everyone...
