zanydave Posted January 11, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 11, 2007 Excellent exposure & composition. I like the movement of the animal bottom right, it really adds to the shot. Dave

Rolo Posted January 14, 2007 Share #8 Posted January 14, 2007 Well done Peter. Wonderful composition which has the eye continually going around the triangle. Very well seen and taken. Rolo
stunsworth Posted January 14, 2007 Share #9 Posted January 14, 2007 Superb! As has been said the animal in the bottom right makes this IMHO. The slow plod of the cattle and the blurred movement, excellent.
imported_peter_m Posted January 16, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted January 16, 2007 Armin, Rolo and Steve, Thank you so much for the comments. I must say since am on the forum I did pick up quit a few hints and got inspirations from the pictures of others and comments. I did take a few shots that evening some different angles but that one was the shot, guess got lucky Lucy was still in the frame when I pressed the shutter. Rolo Posted January 16, 2007 Share #11 Posted January 16, 2007 Hi Peter, I've come back to your image and it's growing on me. I think it's really good. I covered the small cow with my hand to see how much it takes away from the image. She provides so much dynamically and compositionally that she deserves an extra pat on the head. Your overall image is well balanced and framing is well chosen. Overall this is a very pleasing piece of work. Rolo
imported_peter_m Posted January 18, 2007 Author Share #12 Posted January 18, 2007 Thank you Rolo. The small cow is a big dog, she dose make the image complete. It ended up being the pick of the series I took all the other ones where missing something. Peter
samwells Posted January 18, 2007 Share #13 Posted January 18, 2007 Very nice, Peter...and it does look freezing. And I think it's not only the blurred dog which is essential to the image, but also those small tufts of plants poking thru the snow in the centre. Thanx for showing... cheers: Sam
M'Ate Posted January 18, 2007 Share #14 Posted January 18, 2007 Peter, suggest you think of putting a storybook together of tough farm life. You have the support team, scenery and the skill. regards
