I am still scanning some of my older slides. This is a shot I made about eight years ago using the R8 and 105-280 in the 105 range. This is a wild fox with a burrow in a sand dune on a beach. I used a blind and had a flash mounted on the outside of the blind to get some catch lights in the eyes. Probably shot on E100S.

Robert:

I went to a seminar on bird photography where the photographer showed us how he would set up a blind in the woods near a tree using staging and then tarp it in. Once the birds got used to it, he would then start shooting. In his setup he used multiple flash and this is where I got the idea for the flash. My blind was just one of the fold up tent type set up in front of the fox den.
