LuxBob Posted September 5, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted September 5, 2010 Let me back it up. It was actually a grab shot, focus not quite perfect and I would have like to have bracketed the exposures. Instead of photo perfection though it seemed to catch something. The zoo in which this was shot is one of the nicest in which I have been except for these awful cages. At the time they were building a new centre for the apes which is superb. This gorilla has now died at an old age but he was a character apparently. drdannn Posted September 6, 2010 Share #5 Posted September 6, 2010 So sad. When I was a kid I used to love the zoo. Now I would never go, nor would I take my children, or anyone else for that matter unless to try to shut it down.
drdannn Posted September 6, 2010 Share #6 Posted September 6, 2010 I forgot to comment on the photo. It is truly a story telling, great capture with a somber message.
