Message from Leica in my e-mail awhile back to see if my photo's were good enough to

Can someone remember getting an e-mail from Leica asking for photos to see if they were good enough to pass their test and then would be for sale through Leica?

Sounds like a scam, someone looking to steal images. At least the suspect has good taste.

 

I have not heard of Leica making such a request. Disney, on the other hand, has made two runs at this, one for their 50th anniversary of Disneyland celebration, and one more recently targeted at their annual passholders. Reading the fine print of the 50th anniversary promotion, by submitting photos, you were relinquishing all rights to the photo you submitted plus all additional photos you have ever taken or will ever take, all this for no compensation. What a deal!

 

Definitely good to read the fine print when people are soliciting items of value.
