One of the highlights was the adapted cable to allow my R8/DMR to run off my Quantum Turbo Battery. The camera is at about 450+ exposures right now and still going well! We're still testing the Tekkeon Battery solution and the Quantum Turbo cable. As soon as possible, we'll post news. troyfreund Posted September 23, 2010 Author Share #34 Posted September 23, 2010 Just spent 45 minutes on the phone with Michael, taking voltage and amperage readings on the Leica AC adapter and the Digi-Power battery solution (sort of a portable AC adapter). Here's a pic of it, in proto-type stage, attached to the DMR. Michael has really been demonstrating his commitment to making this project a reality! If you want to use a tripod, I think it might be possible to rig up a mount to attach the battery to the tripod leg. Will keep you updated...have you sent me your email, via a direct message?
