arminw Posted January 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 6, 2007 Nice picture, and if you ever need to get back to film (for whatever reason) you know what you are capable of achieving . I love the color and the arrangement.

leicamann Posted January 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 6, 2007 Nice shot Andy...indeed film has its beauty and appeal... I wouldn't stop using it...there is a certain..."je ne sais quoi" about it. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann
andybarton Posted January 6, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted January 6, 2007 Thanks guys. John - despite what you may have heard from others, I never said that I would stop shooting film. In fact, I bought some Tri-X and some ID-11 only this afternoon. It just won't be through the R8, that's all.
leicamann Posted January 7, 2007 Share #6 Posted January 7, 2007 Andy interesting that you would make that remark..indeed...maybe after being exposed to digital and then coming back to film we want the"film experience" to be more personal, more hands on...so to, is the choice of camera....I still use the Leicaflex SL alot..inspite of all the great "automatic" features of the R8...... so I understand where your coming from... Take care..got back my film for "New Years" will post on your thread tomorrow. Regards, Leicamann
