elansprint72 Posted August 26, 2010 Share #43 Posted August 26, 2010 I understand that there may be some photo ops in Albert Square, I'm told that some tub-thumping fire and brimstone Tabernacle merchants set up shop there and let rip at all and sundry. Pintpot Posted August 26, 2010 Share #47 Posted August 26, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi All May I suggest you don't pick somewhere too close to the centre of town for the post shoot glass of water:) as I'm told that pride weekend is a 'boozefest' and the centre bars / pubs will not be quiet. bobfrance Posted August 27, 2010 Share #49 Posted August 27, 2010 Probably worth heading to the Northern Quarter afterwards as it's a bit away from all the action. Or perhaps the Cornerhouse as another option.
al-fresco Posted August 27, 2010 Share #50 Posted August 27, 2010 OK - I think I've worked out which is "the top end of Deansgate" and translated "MOSI" into the "Museum of Science and Industry" - does anyone know if it's possible to get to the assembly point before the parade starts? Could then cut through to Albert Square to catch the parade itself - or is that hopelessly optimistic? I'm hoping to use the Park and Ride from Ladywell and could get off at the Gmex which seems to be close to the start. Does that sound like a viable plan? Noel - shall we make contact via mobiles? Rolo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #60 Posted August 31, 2010 You did well running and shooting at the same time Gary.I dread to think what happened when they caught you. All I heard before blacking out was: " We're having a gang bang We're having a ball We're having a gang bang Against the wall Come and join us, it's part of the fun A gang-bang is the thing to do, when there's more than one ...... " Finally, heard a choir of angels coming to my rescue and then, gripping my M9, I fainted. Welcome, dear visitor!
