pauledell Posted August 5, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 5, 2010 Ece, Great composition, lovely painted colors and tones. Well processed. Have you graduated to CS4 from an earlier version? I have CS3 and wonder if there is much difference. Paul

allamande Posted August 6, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted August 6, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dave, Ben, Paul, Stuart, and Tri, I am happy to hear that you liked this. I thought this image was a good candidate for experimenting a little. I appreciate your supportive feedback very much. Paul, I never had CS3 or worked with it. For years I struggled with an earlier generation PS and later got into LR2. Then something pushed me over the edge, and I got CS4. I have the Kelby book, 7-point system for CS3, and from the looks of things, there isn't that much of a difference between CS3 and CS4 (what I have). I have no trouble following the book so it's probably safe to say that at least for the basics, there isn't a whole lot of difference between these two versions. Now, of course, there is CS5. I have no idea what's different with this new iteration and since I just began to feel comfortable with CS4, I'll stick with it for some time to come. PauloSm6 Posted August 10, 2010 Share #12 Posted August 10, 2010 Beautiful Ece, glad I saw this! Forget to look at the other sections other than people. Nice to see some artistic experimentation, very surreal! Paulo
vdb Posted August 10, 2010 Share #13 Posted August 10, 2010 Wonderful art Ece. A powerfully spiritual image to me....reminds me of the wise ravens out west. The T is made into a cross with the bird on top...bathed in otherworldly light. Love to see you venture out of bounds with this one.
allamande Posted August 12, 2010 Author Share #14 Posted August 12, 2010 Paulo and Virgil, Thank you! Much appreciate your time and your encouraging comments. Paulo, I know what you mean about looking at different sections. There are only so many hours in a day, and People usually has the most interesting images, so we tend to hang out there. Virgil, I am happy to hear your reaction to this, it's gratifying and humbling to know when a work connects at a deeper level like that. Ece
