Rotwang Posted August 2, 2010 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a Kilfitt Kilar 1:3,5 90 for Leica SM in my collection. Actually I dfo not understand the lens? I only need two scales (distance and aperture)? Is there a misunderstanding from my side? Could someone please help me. Thanks Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Hi Rotwang, Take a look here Strange Kilfitt for M39. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
zeitz Posted August 2, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2010 You actually have two parts screwed together. The front part goes on a Kilarscope / Kilarflex reflex housing. (If you want to use it on Visoflex II/II, you need the rare Kilfit Revis adapter or an LTM to LBM adapter and about, but not greater than, 9mm of additional extension tube.) The rear piece is a focusing mount that allows the lens head to be used without reflex housing on an LTM body. In that case the front lens is to be set to infinity. The Kilfitt code is Ecune. The mount works the rangefinder correctly, like any other 90mm lens. There was also a similar set up for the 135mm f3.8 Kilar lens. The focusing mount in this case would be Ecude.
