DSchmidt Posted July 28, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I really enjoy this lens. Wish I pulled it out of the bag more often!
Advertisement Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Hi DSchmidt, Take a look here M8.2 with 90 Elmar this morning. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted July 29, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 29, 2010 Dave, A lovely set with such vivid colors, sharpness, lighting and great composition. Each is excellent. Paul

leicadig3 Posted July 29, 2010 Share #4 Posted July 29, 2010 In the first one, the flower seems is embarrassed and covers the face a little ... or it covers the mouth to cough or to laugh. "She" is a bit shy. I love this pose. The second one is powerful (great colour), despite the orange flower distracts a little, IMHO. I like in general, as usual with the David´s works. Louis Posted July 29, 2010 Share #6 Posted July 29, 2010 I rarely see close-ups (almost macros) made with M8.2!... So, it does work!... I wonder how much you cropped to still have this wonderful IQ!?
DSchmidt Posted July 29, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted July 29, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Extremely little cropping Louis. I have learned to set the lens at minimum focus distance, then adjust my position until I have perfect focus. I just have to hope the wind doesn't blow! geaibleu Posted July 31, 2010 Share #10 Posted July 31, 2010 Great series which IMO would have worked even better without #2, as the out of focus oronge flower distracts from the rest of the image. Well done indeed!
stuny Posted July 31, 2010 Share #11 Posted July 31, 2010 Dave - A stunning set, all, but #1 followed by #3 really speak to me.
