Advertisement Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Hi albert, Take a look here Birth-Life-Death. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leicamann Posted July 10, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 10, 2006 Unique shot Albert....given the general trend on this forum...do not expect much feedback..its even more disappointing than the last forum..so here we see the "panning" maginified x100..too bad..thats going to turn many people away. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
andybarton Posted July 10, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 10, 2006 This is a very nice shot. Thanks for sharing. While I don't necessarily agree with John, there is a lot of "wading through" necessary on this forum to find the really good shots or ones that haven't been shown before. Keep posting! hm1912 Posted July 10, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 10, 2006 Not sure what the trend is... but I'm liking this. A very strong composition, with 5 flower stems, the one fully bloomed flowers, and what I'm guessing is a dying flower on the left. Nicely done, and thanks for sharing. stuny Posted July 10, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 10, 2006 Al - Up to your usual high quality. I especially like that twisted bit to the right. Is it about to open, or as Ilan suggests, is it a bloom fading? Stuart
albert Posted July 10, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted July 10, 2006 Thanx for taking the time to encourage me.....the curly thing on the right hand side is the end-game for the flower.....happens over night...Al
kidigital Posted July 10, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 10, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nice shot Al. It always amazes me how these rather unassuming flowers gathered up in large bunches along the roads in the upper Midwest add a nice ribbon of color to the month of July. jmr Posted July 10, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 10, 2006 Al, good shot. I like the out of focus, dark background, it makes the subject appear positively luminous.

whn Posted July 10, 2006 Share #10 Posted July 10, 2006 The dark background and the small DOF zone make the subject appear almost three-dimensional. I like the picture.
