Checkland Posted July 20, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I have neglected a few (7) 120 B+W roll films in the fridge and realised yesterday they are out of date, May 2010. I'm right in thinking these will be fine if processed properly/accordingly? also, realistically how long will they be usable? Considering they have been in the fridge since purchase. Many Thanks Ben PS it's delta 100 if that makes any difference?

earleygallery Posted July 20, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2010 Just to add, they'll be fine as they are for a good few years yet, even better if they're kept in the freezer!
dewittehd Posted July 20, 2010 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2010 I have used film that was 10 years overdue, and there were no problems. After all, this is not like food, takes much much longer to go of. Take care, Jean

Gotta get that Noctilux or a triple-bypass. Can't quite decide which yet - to live FAST and die not young.
too old to care Posted July 21, 2010 Share #6 Posted July 21, 2010 I always thought that date was meant to scare you to dump your film and buy new. Sort of like the past due dates on magazine subscription notices, meaningless.
