Here's mine. I ordered it from Luigi on the Monday and it arrived on the Friday - Italy to the Western Isles of Scotland in superfast time!

I am absolutely chuffed to bits with the quality. It fits my M8 like a glove and that leather smell - soooo yummmmy!

It protects 70% of the camera against scratches and light dents.

For transportation I use a larger bag with more space and padding, but for walking around, the half-case offers light protection, while leaving the camera ready for immediate use.

I don't consider a half-case to be an essential accessory, but I tend to use it more often than not, and would miss it if it were gone.

Luigi case for me like a luxury cost and it work with my m8 just fantastic. The other case is a different case....

I have a Luigi Half Case that came bundled with my M8.2 when I bought it. I tried it and it wasn't for me. The case itself is a work of art, however I like to keep the profile of the camera as slim as possible and I don't mind some scuff and scratches on the camera, the brassing looks gorgeous imo.

I hate to turn this into a price check thing but would any of you know how much the case I have is worth? I'm thinking of selling it because it just sits unused on my desk. I tried checking the Leica Time website but my gosh, it is the worst web design I've ever experienced.

The Luigi case I have is black leather with a nice luxurious velvety maroon inside (the pictures are a bit over-saturated). The leather smells of such good quality. There is a cut out for my thumbs up. There is a rear flap as well as a steel tripod screw. I also have a matching hand wrist. Here are some pictures:

I hate to turn this into a price check thing so if this is out of line, let me know and I'll take the post down.

Tonysaurus - I have just bought fairly similar Luigi Case but without the tripod screw fitting. My estimate at second hand value for the case and of course the screw would be around 220 euros. I'll let you convert that to $. I think new you would pay around 260 Euros for what you have, pluse of course postage.

I wish you have put this up a week ago I would have bought it off you.

Good Luck - Paul

When you determine a price, I'd suggest you post it here in the Buy & Sell section.
