rob139 Posted August 9, 2010 Share #23 Posted August 9, 2010 Hi William, A bit off topic, but since I have an Ipad on order and was looking to buy the Thinktank bag as well, which model 'retrospective' is this? And does it fit the Ipad? How do you like the bag? Have fun in Thailand, just visited Thailand last month myself. Very, very nice indeed! Thanks, Rob
swamiji Posted August 9, 2010 Share #24 Posted August 9, 2010 I have tried the apple cover, I am not sure it's fit for travel. Yes, it weighs next to nothing, but so is it's protection. Also Cuts into my hand when using. I opted for the Otter box defender. Thats protection, more weight, but much better protection. Also supports the apple stand and keyboard stand. I have about 100 PDF's on my iPad... I will have to try this new technique.

Thanks, Rob Hey Rob, Just got out of Burma (7 days), the land of no Internet. The TT Retrospective 10 performed flawlessly (smallest of the line). Along with the TT Airport Check In Laptop bag, I was able to carryon my full kit including two Canon flashes, Pocket Wizards and MBP onto the Puddle jumpers supplied by the Burmese Airlines. I used the A&A padded liner from the Oskar and it fits perfectly (a bit more padding than supplied by TT). The iPad with Apple case fits perfectly, maybe just a sconch tight. Thanks Virgil.
