Help - anyone with an Elmar 65

Has anyone who has an Elmar 65, also by chance, got a set of thread gauge tools. I would like to know the screw pitch of the 33mm thread which the 65 Elmar head uses to mount in the 16464K focusing mount. This is so I can order a 33mm to LTM lens ring adapter to mount the 65 Elmar head in a Novoflex LTM bellows. I think the thread is 0.5mm pitch but obviously I need to get this exactly right.

Someone has very kindly contacted me to advise me that I needed a16558Z adapter, which enables various lenses, the Elmar 65 included to fit in an LTM bellows. Ffordes had one for £19, so problem solved.

The pitch is 0.7mm. 16558 only mounts the lens to Leica Bellows I or II. If you want to use Novoflex LTM bellows, the right Novoflex adapter is LEIMAR, which is rare. You could also use LEIEL, which can be found on E-bay from time to time. LEIMAR is a recessed mount; LEIEL is not recessed.

Many thanks but too late - I had been wrongly told that the 16558 had a male 39mm LTM thread. I am guessing that Ffordes will take it back, even though it was not them that gave me the wrong information. There is a LEIEL on eBay at the moment but with another bellows. I can always sell that bellows, as I don't think it has the micrometer focus adjustment that mine has.

WIlson,

The earlier Novoflex code for LEIEL was ELRING. kevincameras.com, under Leica Misc then Leica Adapters has an ELRING for sale. Kevin is very reliable from my experience and often will negotiate the final price.
