Advertisement Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Hi johnkuo, Take a look here Painter (M8) . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
azzo Posted January 1, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 1, 2007 John, this is a very good portrait, but if i were you, i would eliminate the gent's left hand as it is distracting. Very well seen and captured. Best Azzo.
jmr Posted January 1, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 1, 2007 John, nice light - good portrait.
stuny Posted January 1, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 1, 2007 John - Fabulous subject, light, tones and detail. You might also want to consider copping a bit from the top. Not only are all of your verticals too many pixels to view without scrolling, but with the exception of "red wall" they all seem to be in need of some cropping for greater impact. Please consider cropping after shooting.

azzo Posted January 2, 2007 Share #8 Posted January 2, 2007 John, this is much better already. Now if you some spare time, try the same crop at the top and from below till you eliminate the hand but don't crop from the right side of your image. Try it and you'll see immediately that it's more pleasing to the eye, by leaving the guy slightly to the left of the picture Best Azzo.

azzo Posted January 2, 2007 Share #11 Posted January 2, 2007 Well done John. Hope you can see the difference. Very small adjustments that make an already good image even stronger, IMHO. Best Azzo.
