Hey guys, i've just picked up this D2 to compliment my Sony A900 DSLR - please feel free to let me have any tips / tricks or advice you can pass to a new owner!

Quick question - how does the autobracket function work? I would like to take a series of photos with different exposures and I cant seem to work it out

Thanks!:)

Shane -

Welcome to the Forum, and if that's your D2 pictured, it appears to be in like-new condition. Probably the most important things for you to do at this point is to shoot a lot and read Thorsten Overgaard's website for D2 information: leica.overgaard.dk - Thorsten Overgaard's Leica Sites - Leica Digilux 2 sample photos and tests (as well as Panasonic DMC-LC1) - Page 1 of 3

I look forward to seeing your D2 pictures.

Shane,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new D2!

The Autobracket function is activated by pressing the "EV" button twice (the top, right button) and choosing your preference:

- with the thumbwheel for + and - 1/3, 2/3, or a full stop either side of metered exposure

- with the up arrow in the centre of the thumbwheel for 3 or 5 exposures

Pete.

welcome aboard and congratulations

you will find some seriously devoted D2 folks here (i'm one of many), and probably more advice than you can ever use :p . . . there is already a ton or 2 or 3 of information scattered around in the threads here, so probably should hack your way through that for a while.

most importantly . . . make pictures and enjoy them :D
