Two lovely photos, Ece, but this is the one for me. The colours are beautiful and I do like the flowers against such an abstract background. No wonder you like this lens. It suits you.

This is bougainvillea, isn’t it? How exotic to live in a place where it flourishes outdoors. It's cold, wet and windy here at the moment - the British summer in all its glory.

Henry, Robert, Herb, Louis, Stuart, and Paul,

Thank you! I appreciate the encouragement and I am happy that this resonated with you.

Robert, yes, this is bougainvillea which thrives in this climate. I have to say though that there are many plants and flowers that you get to enjoy easily that we can only dream of growing around here.

Louis, I know exactly what you mean. I thought about that when I saw the image on my monitor, and in fact, decided to do an experiment along the lines that you are thinking. I have to wait for a day when we have enough cloud coverage (otherwise, all is washed out in the harsh light) to run this experiment with entire image consisting of bokeh! Why didn't I think of this before?
