stuny Posted June 8, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 8, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mary (Peggy) Lincoln Beckwith and her brother Robert Lincoln Beckwith, Abraham Lincoln’s grandchildren, were the end of the line, neither having children of their own. Peggy was quite an adventurer, with flying, photography and driving among her many passions. This is her Ford roadster at Hildene, her father’s estate in Manchester, Vermont. You can see other photos from our visit to Manchester in the North American section of photo galleries on our site.

wda Posted June 8, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2010 Stuart, an interesting story and series from your visit. I see you faced predictable difficulties in gaining clear access to the exhibits. In the circumstances you have done really well.
