grandetech Posted May 12, 2013 Share #81 Posted May 12, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I picked up this post after searching for M9 repaint, I wonder how it goes with your M9 brassing after couple of years from the last post, mind share some picts? Mine has a tiny paint come off above the finder corner and starting on the power switch, which I think is quite common, wondering how it looks when it goes further... I did the same about 5 years ago, bought a "sandpapered" M9 with a recently certificated new sensor. It works fine but as I have been using it more paint has come off there was bubbling under the paint when I got it which with use came away. I'm not bothered though because it cost me significantly less than either of my other 2 one of which was slightly brassed the other was pristine (both with recent new sensors). I use the tatty looking one as a daily carry the others when out for photography trips. I also have Thumbs up on all of them, 2 were used and "sandpapered" the third for the pridtine M9 I bought new to keep it looking new. The "tatty one". Welcome, dear visitor! 84bravo Posted October 2, 2022 Share #92 Posted October 2, 2022 I bought this used a few years ago in this condition. It has a new sensor and about 50k clicks. I never got on with the M9, although I love the M8 and the M10 cameras. Welcome, dear visitor!
