elansprint72 Posted April 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Having been a bit rude about the E-type on another thread, I feel that I should post a shot of a much-modified Jaguar in the assembly area for the Le Mans Classic 08. If anyone else has E-type photos, please feel free to paste them up here. btw; notice how many of the folks in shot are looking at the cars in the row to the left? Guess what- Lotus Elans. elansprint72 Posted April 27, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted April 27, 2010 Interesting pair Neal- I recognise your Spitfire but what makes are the red car in #1 and the blue car in #2?
neal Posted April 27, 2010 Share #5 Posted April 27, 2010 Both of these were taken a while ago, but the red car I think is a Fiat 850 with the removable hard top, the blue car I'm not sure about but it might be a Healey 3000 with the whole front removed. BTW the blue "E" type 2+2 is now in the shop starting its restoration.

elansprint72 Posted April 27, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted April 27, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have posted this before I believe...but in the spirit of the thread...why not again... Why not, indeed! Neal, I don't think we had any FIAT 850 convertibles in the UK, only the mass-produced fast-back. The car next to the Spit looks too tall for a 3000, but if the engine was out, maybe it grew?! Got any vacancies in the shop?
elansprint72 Posted April 27, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted April 27, 2010 This, or something close, possibly in colour, might, or might not have been posted here previously. In the paddock at the Le Mans Classic 08.
