I thought I share with you who I am as a photographer and what makes me take photos the way I do.

I was always an artistic kind of person. I drew as a youngster and took several art courses in the past. To me art means a lot, it helped me overcome a lot of adversities as a youngster and as an adult now. I love vibrant colours as you have noticed. I always look for the unusual and the simple. Seeing the beauty that is in everything around us makes me appreciate how fortunate I am. I also take pictures to bring joy to others who look at them whether they are friends or others on this Forum. In short, I enjoy my hobby to the fullest and also enjoy seeing the wonderful images you all put out there.

Herb,

You have done this very well in the forum by sharing your fine images. Your sunrise pictures always bring new surprises including this one. Great work and keep it up.

A fine picture.

And I enjoyed your comments.

My wife's brother and family live in Hamilton, and we visit frequently. It is nice to see pictures of the city and its surroundings. There is much more to Hamilton than the steel mills.

Herb, lovely gradations in the sky but can I say that I don't think the lamp works. I think the silhouette of the trees against the sky would have created a nice sense of tranquility. Just my opinion but other will no doubt disagree.
