I generally park at The Grosvenor; my man tips the valet then polishes the Lagonda. Cocktails gratis (Lord Barton's account) and I'm under the clock in 30 sec.

I'll be wearing magenta, it's sooooo.. this year's colour .;)

I'll be there 09:30 for 10:00.

Pete.

If anyone else is coming, please let me know; The Albion were a little vague when I asked about reserving tables.

It's the big, ornate clock on the bridge, where the city wall passes over Eastgate Street.

If I knew a local photog, I'd send him out to take a decent picture for you ;)

(This isn't one of mine, btw. My hot air balloon is in for a service)

So, who's in on Sunday?

Say "Aye".

Aye.

Andy,

I'm a relativly recent Forum member and Leica user but I would love to join you all if that's OK. Would it be useful to swap mobile numbers in case I need to cry off or you cancell because of bad weather. I'm sufficient new to the forum not yet to have worked out how the private message system work but if I can find it I'll PM you with my mobile. Let me know if its ok to join you all on the 28th at 10.00 in Chester.

Best wishes

Hi,

Looking forward to the trip - hope the good weather holds up!

Now I have my M8, after a bit of thought, I have traded in my M6 - loved to use it but abhorred scanning. Consequently I have some left over film of various kinds in the fridge which I'm very happy to donate to film users attending if anyone wants it. Let me know and I'll bring it along - otherwise its for the bin.

Best wishes

Hi

I too am a new Forum member and would very much like to attend the Chester meeting on Sunday 28th. Is lunch still at the Albion at about 1.00pm? Regarding car parks, and if I remember correctly, the one at the racecourse has a flat rate of about £3 – certainly cheaper than the major car parks in town, and is a 5-8 minute walk from the meeting venue. Hope to see you all on Sunday.

You are more than welcome, V. (Not sure if we can continue calling you "V" all day, but we'll cross that bridge on Sunday :) )

Yes, the Racecourse is an option and is much cheaper than any of the NCPs.

Another good option is the Park and Ride at the Racecourse (if you can face being on a bus ;) ). Easy to find, cheap, and discharges you adjacent to the clock.
