we have ducks on the golf course and i never tire of seeing them do this. to me its so funny.

love the ducks.

these last two shots look alittle soft to me.

whats your shutter speed? next time for fun crank it up way high and open up.

Thanks for looking. You're right...the shot looks soft. Actually, its because I apparently didn't have any sharpening on at all when I processed it. The shutter speed was 1/500. Here is a link to another version of the same pic with a little output sharpening applied (and the picture is closer to original size which helps too, I think).

The real problem with this shot is that the white tail feathers on the drake are completely blown out because they are so bright in an otherwise neutral scene. I could not recover any detail at all!
