If you have registered your Leica X1 on the Leica website, you should have the question of what is known as TAN-code, which you can find in your paper that is in the box the camera came in. After all numbers are registered on the Leica website, you get a e-mail with the 24 digit code that you use for registration of Lightroom. Hope this will help you! h00ligan Posted April 1, 2010 Share #9  Posted April 1, 2010 I wonder if those left waiting for a few more months for the x1 will have a consolation prize in the final version of lr3 - at some point lr2 goes legacy and I'd think it will default to a replacement of the later product... thoughts? mattnnz Posted April 2, 2010 Share #10  Posted April 2, 2010 I had some fun with my account activation email from Leica. The email had a strange character encoding on it that did not mix well with my email account. The activation url was broken into multiple lines with a line end as "=" that needed to be deleted and any "=3D" needed to be changed to "=" Hope this saves anyone from the same trouble. It has do with the settings of your internet service provider, or your web browser, or your POP3/IMAP mail service. In my own experience Mozilla FireFox and later versions of Internet Explorer does not work at certain bank web pages. And FireFox does not recognize MS update pages either. I do not why, probably the security settings.
tommm Posted April 2, 2010 Share #12 Â Posted April 2, 2010 Anyone know if it's worth waiting until Light Room 3 comes out and downloading it then? Will an X1 registration still be valid? S'pose it would be better than paying for an upgrade in a couple of months time.

eduardoho Posted April 11, 2010 Share #14 Â Posted April 11, 2010 I am wondering if anyone has familiarized with the newly introduced iPad by Apple? I am getting mine this coming week, and I was seriously wondering if there is an apps available for Adobe's lightRoom suitable for iPad? Or conversely, if there is an Apple apps equivalent to Adobe's lightRoom.? I have spoken to both Adobe & Leica tech support. Adobe tech support was looking into it and Leica software tech was oblivious of iPad's introduction. And by the way, you are not circumventing the EULA agreement by installing the Adobe's LightRoom in more than two pc's, provided that you have a technical issue, ie. your laptop/pc got zapped by virus, etc..
