andalus Posted March 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I laid a focusing chart on a table less than a meter away and put camera on tripod with 50 lux asph attached to camera. When I focus at about a 45 degree angle onto the chart and the and move the focus ring around on the lens the entire frame lines ands the rangefinder patch as a whole move at a diagonal within the viewfinder, right to left if I focus nearer and the opposite direction if I focus longer. Is this not strange? Something wrong with the rangefinder? Same thing is I focus on something in the near distance, say 25 feet away. Please advise.
