Advertisement Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Hi Dopaco, Take a look here GF2 similar to M . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Digitom Posted March 18, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 18, 2010 ?That you think of this article? ... http://pindelski.org/Photography/category/cameras/panasonic-g1/ I like the G1 because of her appearence, it looks (IMHO) much better then the G1/G2 model (maybe the viewfinder insinde the G1/G2 seems to be more better due to the higher resolution) but the look of the GF1 is more "Leica like". That camera is -same as the Olympus Pen2- a good alternative when you want to use M-lenses without the classical rangefinder I think. The negative thing: cropfactor 2. So I would prefer a full format camera with interchangeable lenses (no slr) or, as a compromize, a sensor with APS-C (so a X1 with interchangeable lenses is a "must do" for Leica for net next 2 years I think). Dopaco Posted March 19, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted March 19, 2010 The GF2 can be successful
dpattinson Posted March 19, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 19, 2010 should do well, but kinda pointless for M lenses due to the crop. I don't see it posing any more of a threat to M sales than the GF1 did really. If they made one with micro-lenses and a 1.3 crop sensor... it would be in my pocket
