Digitom Posted March 18, 2010 Share #2 Â Posted March 18, 2010 Does anyone know whether the Digilux2 battery is compatible with the Digilux1? Â I think yes, because often you may find on ebay these batteries (I do not recommend to buy that nonames!) which are same for using in Digilux 1,2,3. I know the defference of the D3 battery is, that the mA is higher cmopared to the D2, so one can use D3 cell in D2. Sure it is same with D2 and D1. TonyMCS Posted March 18, 2010 Share #3  Posted March 18, 2010 Hi,  Batteries for Digilux 1, 2 and also 3 are interchangeable:  D1 & D2 battery: 7.2V Li-ion 1400mAh capacity (Leica BP-DC1-E) D3 battery: 7.2V Li-ion 1500mAh capacity (Leica BP-DC3-E) - note slightly larger rated capacity, not really noticeable in use.  The equivalent Panasonic batteries are similar and will be interchangeable. I use Panasonic CGR S602A (7.2V Li-ion 1400mAh).  Hope this helps  Tony
zenonzinonos Posted March 19, 2010 Author Share #4 Â Posted March 19, 2010 Thanks Digitom, Tony - I was thinking of buying a used Digilux 1 on ebay, but after doing some research in the various forums I think that I might just stick to my LC1 and D-Lux4 for the time being...
