The name is engraved on the camera Does anybody know if this was usual practice with cameras sold to Leica employees and does anybody know (a very long shot, I know ) who Werner Kaps was ? The cameras had to be engraved with the name of the employee. This was when I was in university and worked part time in a Montreal Leica dealership (Montreal Photographic Center). Leitz, Sr., after the successful launch of the SOOPD aka as the Barndoor.
