barcoder Posted March 16, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 16, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Our Wiki has a FAQ page . I'd like to start contributing to it with common questions and answers collected from the forums. I think the answers should be attributed and link back to the thread message. For example this thread (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m9-forum/119254-black-line-files.html) would be in the FAQ for M9 as the following: I have a black line in my image, how do I get rid of them? "If it's on several images, restart the camera (battery out) and another SD-card." - overgaardcom If this doesn't correct the issue then it may be "...a sensor readout fault out of the box. Return the camera for a replacement." - jaapv Thoughts?
Advertisement Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Hi barcoder, Take a look here FAQ for forum in the wiki. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tdavis Posted March 19, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2010 Hi Lee, I like the way FAQ were handled for the M8 http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/M8 thanks to Cbretteville, Rmellio, OrtrcHivib, Delander, Dritz, Lc1999 and RwFreund. Rather than one FAQ page for 170 lenses, 90 cameras, 70 finders, 70 hoods and countless other accessories, I believe we should confine FAQ, Forum discussion, Test Shots, Reviews, Repair suggestions etc. to the individual pages already established. Admittedly, lots more needs to be done, and we eagerly await your (and other's) input. Thanks, Tim
algrove Posted August 25, 2013 Share #3 Posted August 25, 2013 I like and use Wiki often. Does anyone know who to contact to give new input into an R lens series with serial numbers Wiki does not have? Specifically R 180/3.4 Telyt-R

jaapv Posted March 25, 2014 Share #5 Posted March 25, 2014 I think the basic structure is already there in the existing FAQ thread.
